OREGON COMPANY LAUNCHES INDIEGOGO TO HELP SMALL BUSINESSES

Portland, OREGON, SEP 22, 2014 –  Ever get that nostalgic feeling when something old is seen all new and shiny again?  One Oregon company, Dub Box USA, wants small vendors across the USA to have that feeling with a vendor trailer that resembles the vintage VW van and they’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds to take their already established business to the next level.

Coco Gluten-Free Baking Company out of Chico California and the Portland Cider Company are two examples of small vendors that expanded into mobile with a Dub Box USA retail cart. Currently the company employs 10 people in the areas of design, carpentry, electrical, engineering, auto mechanics, sales and accounting.  The goal of this campaign is to take the business further by upgrading equipment and hiring 10 more people to keep up with demand.  Specifically funds raised will go to shop equipment to increase their lean manufacturing process, solid works Software and CAD design software, to hire additional labor, to create mold improvements that will significantly reduce labor and production time, to make showroom upgrades and samples and website development as well as towards a small inventory of “design ready” bodies for quick delivery.

Angel investors helping fund the making of the Dub Box USA-custom retro trailer campaign will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, newsletters, a Dub Box Keychain, a set of Dub Box coasters, renderings of Dub Box Designs, Dub Box Socks, Dub Box tote bag and T-shirts, reflective dog collar, picnic basket and etched growler and pub glasses.

The team also understands not everyone may be able to make a pledge to help this project, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about Dub Box USA-custom retro trailer online through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr or record a video challenge for Vine, Facebook or Instagram to invite friends to give to or share this Indiegogo fundraiser.
