In trading on Wednesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Energy XXI (EXXI), off about 14.5% and shares of Forest Oil Corporation (FST) down about 13.2% on the day.
