Visitors thronged to a glamorous gala ball at Richmond Hill Hotel last Wednesday, July 2014.
Home Beauty Salon UK and The Balcony teamed up with other businesses, to raise money for The Katie Piper foundation.
The event gave visitors the chance to take part in an auction, raffle, and casino tables while raising money for charity.
Rachel Staggs, owner of Home Beauty Salon UK and The Balcony, said: “Most of our customers book online, but we also hold private home visits and it’s wonderful to be able to collaborate with The Katie Piper Foundation.
The Katie Piper Foundation is a charity I really believe in, and as an established salon business it’s wonderful to give something back to the community we live and work in.”
Everyone who attended the evening was given a complimentary glass of champagne, alongside a 10 percent discount on all beauty products and treatments booked at the event.
Rachel Staggs from Home Beauty Salon UK and The Balcony added: “I watched Katie’s documentary and felt strongly for what she had endured and how she had fought through and not given up.”
“We’re always happy to support The Katie Piper Foundation because it’s such a brilliant cause.”
The Katie Piper Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping people living with disfigurement and supports people living with burns and scarring.
All proceeds taken on the evening have been donated to the charity.
