Accuvant’s Renee Guttmann to Deliver Keynote Address on Application Security at ICCE 2014

Accuvant, the authoritative source for enterprise information security, today announced that Renee Guttmann, a vice president in the Accuvant Office of the CISO, will present a keynote address at the International Conference on Corporate Espionage and Industrial Security (ICCE). The event will take place December 1-2, 2014 at the Hilton Casino Lac-Leamy in Gatineau/Ottawa.

As organizations increase their adoption of mobile devices, non-company owned equipment, third-party contractors, and software in the cloud, they may be exposing critical data to new attacks and new ‘insiders.’ Guttmann’s ICCE presentation will review how application security controls need to evolve to address the changing nature of insider risk and to mitigate the chance of accidental and deliberate unauthorized access to sensitive information.

Guttmann is an accomplished global information security and privacy executive with a proven track record of establishing internationally recognized information security programs for Fortune 500 companies, including Coca-Cola and Time Warner. As part of the Accuvant Office of the CISO, she is responsible for providing guidance to security leaders at enterprise-class organizations.
