In trading on Monday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 7.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Midstates Petroleum Company (MPO), off about 18.4% and shares of Mid Con Energy Partners (MCEP) off about 18.1% on the day.
