Creating a line of seasonings has truly been a labor of love for Mr. and Mrs. Chandler. To sum it up we like to say “Smoky Mountain Flavor at its Finest”Chandler’s seasonings are all natural and and delicious. The sweet potato seasoning is a great addition to sweet potato pie, sweet potato casserole, sprinkle on French toast and even add to baked beans. The cabbage seasoning on the other hand we like to say is the only one in the world. It’s very unique and will liven up not only cabbage but spaghetti, steaks, meatloaf, brussel sprouts and greens just to name a few.Chandler’s Seasonings is located in Knoxville, TN. We created a line of seasonings from the request of our customers wanting the taste of Chandler’s at home but not necessarily wanting to leave the comforts of home.
Currently we have two seasonings available: our cabbage seasoning and our sweet potato seasoning. Our cabbage seasoning is as unique as it sounds and loved by many. As hard as we’ve tried we haven’t been able to find any like it. Creating it was truly a labor of love for Mr. Chandler taking almost eight years to perfect. We use it in the cooked cabbage we sell at the restaurant and the cabbage is in the top 3 best selling vegetables.
The sweet potato recipe on the other hand has been unchanged since the restaurant opened its doors in May of 2000 and was created by Mrs. Chandler. The next seasoning to hit the market will be our Cornbread Dressing mix. A simple mix that you add to prepared cornbread with chicken broth for a delicious dressing. We are also working on a chicken breading, fish breading, pork seasoning, soup mix and BBQ sauce.
Our main goal is to market to grocery stores, restaurants, school systems as well as the military.
