Trinity House Cafe Seeks to Expand Its Array of Christian Services

By: Get News

In a world crowded with secular activities, a place where faith is integrated into daily life is an ideal venue to renew one’s spirit. The Trinity House Cafe in downtown Leesburg, Virginia near Washington, D.C. has been just such a place of fellowship and encouragement for Christians and non-Christians alike. Director Ever Johnson has worked tirelessly to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that embraces people from all parts of the world. Johnson was inspired to establish Trinity House Cafe as an outreach of the John Paul II Fellowship, to which all proceeds are directed.

The Trinity House Cafe offers a number of dining venues including an elegant main dining room to the more rustic outdoor picnic area and even a children’s “Hobbit Room.” The building itself once served as a home in the late 18th century, before being the law office of the Attorney General Mark Herring. The non-profit cafe offers a large selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items that originate on almost every continent, along with signature tea and coffee drinks.

In the months since opening its doors, Trinity House Cafe has quickly piqued the interest of locals and visitors from other parts of Virginia and Maryland who enjoy the simple, home-cooked food as well as community events. Lively business and suggestions from customers have inspired Trinity House Cafe to expand its suite of services.

Trinity House Cafe would like to raise $10,000 to upgrade services and

• Increase the number of parking spaces
• Improve online ordering system
• Add another commercial coffee brewer
• Add another mobile register
• Hire additional staff to meet increased demand

To raise these funds, Trinity House Cafe has sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. In return for contributing to this project, you may receive perks like artist cards, a country and blues EP, Jennifer Fulwiler’s memoir Something Other than God, gift certificates, handmade pendants of St Francis, artwork, or a personal dining party for ten guests.
