Weekly mortgage applications fall despite low rates

Mortgage rates dropped last week to their lowest level since May of 2013, which was just before rates spiked on news that the Federal Reserve would "taper" its purchases of mortgage-backed securities; home buyers today, however, are not reacting to the move lower.
