PRLog - Jan. 28, 2015 - JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Adina L. Pollan has joined the Jacksonville office of GILLIS WAY DUNCAN & CAMPBELL as a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy group focusing on business and bankruptcy matters.
Adina is an AV rated attorney that practices in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy. She represents creditors, debtors and trustees in cases under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, and has significant experience in real estate litigation. Her experience includes a wide range of contract disputes, debt workouts, construction disputes and commercial lending matters, as well as banking and finance matters.
Adina was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from The Bolles School in 1997. She then obtained her B.B.A. from Emory University in 2001, with a dual concentration in marketing and management. She obtained her law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 2005, cum laude, where she was also the student works editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Adina served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jerry A. Funk, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
As a partner in GILLIS WAY DUNCAN & CAMPBELL, Adina aims to serve the Jacksonville community through her involvement with the University of Florida Law Alumni Council, the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, as well as her current Presidency of the Girls, Inc. Rising Leader Society.
Adina also aims to serve her clients by being an industry leader. She has been selected as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012-2015, and has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Bankruptcy Lawyer in Florida by the American Society of Legal Advocates from 2013-2015. Adina remains active with her involvement in several committees with the Jacksonville Bar Association and The Florida Bar.
