Resources Global Professionals Promotes George Chin to Lead M&A Transaction Services

Resources Global Professionals (“RGP” or “the Company”) today announced that the Company has promoted George Chin to North America Managing Director, Transaction Services. He leads the Company’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Transaction Services to help businesses navigate the complexities of the M&A process and maximize strategic value during post-merger integration.

Chin brings over 25 years of extensive operational and consulting experience and specializes in strategy, corporate development, M&A, divestitures, due diligence, merger integration and cross-border transactions. Prior to RGP, he held leadership roles in corporate venture, applications consulting, customer support, marketing and international business development. Chin received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

“We’ve seen a significant increase in M&A activities across our client base,” said Chin. “It is well known that the ability to plan and manage an effective merger integration is a key success factor for capturing deal value. Clients are faced with the intricacies of merging businesses, people, processes and cultures, while maintaining focus on day-to-day operations. That’s where RGP comes in as an agile partner: we are able to bring our experience and best practices to manage the overall integration, or provide subject-matter expertise as part of the integration effort.”

RGP’s M&A Transaction Services leverages the Company’s expertise in project and change management, human capital, information management, supply chain management, finance & accounting and legal and compliance. RGP has a proven track record of partnering with clients, from Fortune 500 to mid-sized companies, to integrate acquisitions and execute long-term transformational initiatives.
