In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Bill Barrett (BBG), up about 8% and shares of Sandridge Energy (SD), up about 7.9% on the day.
