For lifelong musician and artist Elizabeth Issa—known as ISSA—the musical medium has been a way to connect with others. ISSA launched her stellar career with two popular singles, “Party People” and “Frozen Love,” both of which performed well in her home country Australia. With the commercial success of her early songs, Elizabeth is prepared to elevate her career to the next level by recording and releasing an EP with at least five new tracks.
An accomplished musical performer since the young age of seven, ISSA has a long list of distinguished honors and accomplishments, including performing on the nationally televised show “The Voice”. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Music, she received vocal training at the International Conservatorium of Music followed by additional training at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre. Elizabeth has also competed in numerous performance competitions including the McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge and Clubs NSW, racking up many first place honors. She was awarded the title of “Singer of the Year” in 2010 by Star Central Magazine following her triumphant performance on “Star Quest.” ISSA has also earned a reputation as a talented actress and vocalist for her celebrated performances in musical shows like “The Pirates of Penzance,” “Les Miserables” and “Mary Mackillop.”
Drawing on a variety of genres including soul, pop and R&B, this new artistic project promises to showcase ISSA’s unique talents as a musical artist and a performer. Blessed with the vocal talents that might compare with Aretha Franklin or Gloria Estefan, ISSA also possesses the poise and maturity that marks her for great accomplishments on the international stage. She plans to share this wealth of talents with her growing legion of fans on her upcoming EP.
This next musical project will require significant studio time which is quite costly. To raise the $5,000 necessary to secure the required production resources, ISSA has sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. In return for backing this important project, donors can receive perks like personalized “Thank You”s, digital versions or hardcopies of the ISSA EP, Skype meeting with ISSA, a role in a music video, or a private performance by ISSA.
