Qualcomm preps technology to reduce burden on mobile networks

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Mobile chipmaker Qualcomm wants wireless carriers to set up new technology that would offer cellphone users better reception in places like subway tunnels and shopping malls.
