PRLog - Feb. 27, 2015 - HOUSTON -- Since the company’s beginning in 2012, Forward Science Technologies LLC (FST) has continued to grow and expand, not only through its product portfolio, but also through its internal team members. During the past two years, FST, manufacturers of the award winning OralID, has seen sales increase year over year, seeing a need for additional management personnel. “With the focus on serving our customers, we wanted to continue to grow our sales and support team, and to do so, we knew we needed to promote from within and hire great leaders,” explained CEO Robert J. Whitman.
On February 2, 2015, Forward Science Technologies announced the promotion of two highly successful OralID team members, Bonnie Phillips and Kelly Kunkel. Bonnie and Kelly will be responsible for the domestic sales of OralID, CytID and other products in development by the Forward Science Technologies R&D team.
Bonnie Phillips has an extensive background in healthcare management, and will now serve as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for FST. A native of Alabama, Bonnie combines a diverse background of science, health administration, and medical sales. After receiving a B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama, Bonnie completed a dual degree program in Business Administration and Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Upon completing her education, Bonnie began her career in hospital and clinical administration for a large health system. She later worked as a member of the sales team for a dental implant company where she worked with a large territory of doctors involved in tissue regeneration and implants. Bonnie’s experience with science, management, sales and customer service has lead her to OralID, where she is passionate about being a leader and playing a part in the fight against oral cancer.
With the promotion to Western Regional Sales Manager for FST, Kelly Kunkel brings many years of dental experience to the team. Kelly’s career in the dental field began in the clinical setting in Connecticut in 1997. After her clinical career, Kelly relocated to Phoenix, AZ, and worked as a Marketing Manager for DentalTown Magazine and Online Forum, developing marketing campaigns. Continuing her passion for the dental field, Kelly then worked as the Membership Director and CE Event Planner for the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) where she managed relationships both with dentists and companies to grow ACE's membership.
Since joining OralID, Kelly has fully educated herself in all aspects of oral cancer, early detection, and new technologies available to dentists today. Her sales have continued to increase since she first began at OralID, which reflects her passion and persistence to put this technology in the hands of all dental providers. Having been involved in many different aspects of dentistry, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the sales management team.
With the two new additions of Regional Sales Managers for FST, the company is poised to continue its record setting growth, and its goal of changing the way the industry screens and tests for oral cancer.
