Pace International and Axiall introduce Accu-Tab® system to Chilean produce market

Pace International LLC and Axiall Corporation’s Water Treatment Products business were recently granted registration approval by the Chilean government to allow the use of the Axiall Accu-Tab® tablet chlorination system to minimize the risk associated with cross-contamination of food in fruit and vegetable packing facilities.

For the past eight years, Pace and Axiall have been installing the Accu-Tab technology in United States fruit packaging operations. The Accu-Tab system is a proven chlorination method that uses proprietary calcium hypochlorite tablets to deliver a consistent, controllable stream of chlorinated water to fruit and vegetable dip tanks and flume washing stations.

Working closely with the market, Axiall Water Treatment Products helped pioneer the development of erosion calcium hypochlorite-based chlorine systems through its Accu-Tab brand.
