Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center Opens New State of The Art Performance Center

PRLog - March 26, 2015 - PLYMOUTH, Mich. -- Over the past six months, Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center has been under a major renovation improving their banquet and event spaces along with building from the ground up, a one of a kind, Performance Center and Short Game Area that is helping golfers take their game to the next level.  Fox Hills also offers 63 holes of golf played on the course, which is the most holes offered at a single course in Southeast Michigan.

The new golf Performance Center offers 6 new bays for teaching equipped with state of the art technology.  This is the only training center in Michigan that is 6,500 square feet with technology in place where video, launch monitor, 3D motion analysis and a cutting edge foot pressure mat are fully integrated to give you the most accurate look at your golf swing and improve your game.

The team at Fox Hills have designed the new center to operate year round while meeting the needs of a golfer's long game, short game, mental game, club fitting and putting.  The building has a Putting Studio, reception area and multi-purpose room for educational purposes.  A massage room that incorporates the sports fitness component of healthy golfers and rehabilitation of injured players.  This allows our associating with OMNI Kinetics and Graham Polakoff to grow, along side us, with our clients.

In addition to the added space, a short game area with three green complexes, bunkers and teaching areas have been added and will open June 1st.  “The short game, from 100 yards in, equates for just under 70 percent of golf shots”, according to Director of Instruction at Fox Hills, Jordan Young.  “This is why it is imperative for a golfer to work this area of his or her game to see quick improvement.”

The short-game area was designed by Mike Nuzzo of Nuzzo Course Design and is Mike’s first entry into the State of Michigan.  Nuzzo Course Design strives for integrating originality, artistry, technical aptitude and business insight into every project.  Short game memberships are now available for the season.

“We are very thrilled about all of the new improvements here at Fox Hills.  The Performance Center and Short Game Area were big projects that our team worked hard to complete but we are very pleased and excited about the outcome,” says Sandy Mily, Owner of Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center.  “This is a great opportunity for golfers of all skill levels to visit one facility and be able to work on all areas of their game.  Fox Hills is one of the few facilities in the Midwest where golfers can take advantage of these world class amenities and experience the complete golf package.”
