Boyle brings nearly 30 years’ experience in financial services to the role. He joined Banknorth in 1997 and was named CFO in 2004, a role he continues to hold today for the bank, which has since become TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®. As CFO of TD Ameritrade, he will oversee investor relations and finance operations, including accounting, business planning and forecasting, as well as all treasury and asset liability management functions.

“With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Steve Boyle’s thorough understanding of financial management and leadership of financial institutions will be an asset to us,” said Fred Tomczyk, president and chief executive officer at TD Ameritrade. “We are pleased to welcome him to TD Ameritrade.”

Boyle will join TD Ameritrade in July 2015 for a transition period with current Executive Vice President and CFO Bill Gerber, who announced his retirement from the Company in January, before assuming the role of CFO on Oct. 1, 2015.
