Creating the Perfect Place for Coffee Lovers, Friends, and Family to BondChicago, Illinois – April 21, 2015 – Humboldt Coffee is an idea created simply because there was a demand. There is a need for a special place in the beautiful “Windy City” – Chicago – where people can gather and get a delicious cup of coffee. The aim is to create a place where families can relax and anyone can come by and take a load off and enjoy some good old-fashioned “Joe.” The community would benefit greatly from a cool joint to connect, bond, and enjoy life. Creator of the idea, Alisa Levin, has been working on conceiving of a brand that would catch in Humboldt Park. Now that she found the perfect spot, she and her partners need some help to make it a reality! Alisa has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $70,000 by May 25th, 2015.
Nothing is more soothing then the smell of fresh coffee and the delightful ambiance of a coffee shop. It is the place where people can take a break from daily stresses, enjoy time alone or with friends, and recharge. Alisa hopes that Humboldt Coffee will be just that and she has also found the perfect place for it!
There is a vacant building near Humboldt Park. Photos of the place can be found on the campaign. Alisa drives by this place every day and so do many others. The empty building has adequate space and layout to open a relaxing, fun, and hip coffee shop, including a play-space for kids. Currently, the building is being rehabbed by the owner and there still needs some work to get Humboldt Coffee to where it needs to be.
The goal is to turn this place into a quick and convenient place for people to go to for coffee, other refreshments, and pastries. It is the place where friends and family can hang out to bond. Businesspeople will think of Humboldt Coffee to hold quick meetings and there will be meeting space to do that. It is going to be the java joint that will bring the community together. Bringing people’s love for coffee and socializing all in one family-friendly place!
However, to make this place a reality Alisa needs a bit of funding. Money raised from the campaign will go towards paying for the rent, furnishings, supplies and necessary capital and training, buying a quality espresso machine, construction permits and business license costs and other expenses to make this is the go to spot in Chicago.
