American Express Launches New Plenti SM Cobrand Credit Card and Membership Rewards® Points Transfer Relationship

American Express (NYSE:AXP) and Plenti, the first loyalty coalition involving major U.S. brands today announced a new cobrand Credit Card for Plenti members to help them earn more Plenti points to use towards savings at participating Plenti U.S. retail locations. The Plenti Credit Card from Amex, available now, is a no-annual-fee Credit Card where Card Members can earn 1 Plenti point for every dollar spent on eligible purchases, in addition to the Plenti points earned through the Plenti rewards program.

Plenti is the first loyalty coalition involving major U.S. brands that lets consumers earn Plenti points at one place and use them for savings at another. Partners include many of the places where customers shop and spend every day, such as AT&T, Exxon, Macy’s, Mobil, Nationwide, Rite Aid, Direct Energy, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Hulu. The program is expected to include more brands in additional categories over time.

Membership Rewards Program from American Express Point Transfer

In addition, Plenti is the newest partner to the Membership Rewards program. Card Members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program can now transfer Membership Rewards points into Plenti points. Membership Rewards points can be transferred in increments of 500 points, which will equal 400 Plenti points.

The Membership Rewards program from American Express offers more than a million reward options from more than 500 brands. The program allows Card Members to earn one point for virtually every dollar charged on eligible, enrolled American Express Cards, with many opportunities to earn points faster. Membership Rewards points are redeemable in a wide selection of reward categories. There is no limit on the number of Membership Rewards points a Card Member can earn.
