Accuvant and FishNet Security Make Strategic Executive Hire to Support Long-Term Growth

Accuvant and FishNet Security, which recently joined together to create the nation’s premier cyber security solutions provider, today announced the appointment of 23-year IT industry veteran Anthony Crutcher as chief information officer (CIO).

In this newly created role, Crutcher is responsible for spearheading the combined company’s information technology vision, strategy and execution in support of its growing client base, employee base and partner ecosystem, as well as its expanding geographic footprint. Crutcher joins Accuvant and FishNet Security from Sitel, where he served as senior vice president and chief technology officer. He reports to president and chief operating officer Mark Williams.

“Naming Anthony as our first CIO is another important milestone in the successful integration and ongoing growth of our company,” said Williams. “Anthony’s proven expertise makes him the ideal person to lead our enterprise-wide information technology initiatives. I am confident that he will help us deliver significant value to all of our stakeholders – clients, employees, partners and shareholders – through innovation, technology-focused solutions and pragmatic delivery. I look forward to working with him.”

“It’s truly an exciting time to join Accuvant and FishNet Security,” said Crutcher. “I’m anxious to dig in and begin collaborating with the company’s strong IT team to deliver leading-edge technology capabilities that better serve internal and external clients, and maximize business results."

A seasoned executive leader with significant experience working for global and enterprise Fortune 1000 companies, Crutcher is known for achieving competitive advantages and business enablement through IT strategy, and leading IT operations that minimize risk, maximize return, and build current and future business value. While at Sitel, a global business process outsourcing leader, he led a staff of more than 450 employees around the world supporting infrastructure, applications, operations, security and shared services. He also was an executive stakeholder in the implementation of global compliance programs for PCI and Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and served as an active member of the internal audit committee, driving improvements on financial systems and IT general controls. Crutcher previously held information technology and operations positions of increasing responsibility with companies such as Etelcare Global Solutions (now Stream Global Services), Ernst & Young, Comcast Corporation, Qwest Communications (now Century Link), and MCI Communications (now Verizon).

Crutcher earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
