Endologix Inc. (Nasdaq: ELGX) reported a loss for the third quarter of 16 cents per share compared with a loss of 21 cents per share a year earlier and announced plans to offer $150 million in convertible senior notes. Shares of the medical device maker plunged $4.96 to close at $8.77.
