Veterans on Wall Street™ Announces Keynote Speakers for Fifth Annual Symposium

Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS), a consortium of more than 50 financial services firms including Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and HSBC, is pleased to announce the keynote speakers for the fifth annual Veteran Employment Symposium and Hiring Fair on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Goldman Sachs’ headquarters in New York City.

The 2015 Symposium will once again bring together corporate representatives across all industries, transitioning service members and their families, military and government leaders, veterans support organizations and others who have a shared interest in veterans’ employment issues. Featured speakers and panel participants include:

Agenda:

Morning Veteran Symposium (7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.): Provide veterans and their spouses with information and best practices to assist with their transition from the military to civilian life. Resources include a professional resume review (provided at no cost) and networking lunch.

“Hiring our Heroes” Job Fair (12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.): As part of “Hiring our Heroes,” a nationwide effort to help veterans and their spouses find employment, participants will have the opportunity to network with more than 50 employers and learn about transition opportunities.

Afternoon Corporate Symposium (12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.): Designed to convene members of the corporate community to address the most critical issues related to the hiring and integration of veterans into the civilian workforce.
