Savory Institute Announces Land And Livestock Management For Life (3LM) As An Accredited Savory Hub

By: PRLog
3LM will lead in the British Isles in implementing Savory Institute Holistic Management programs to local communities, government, NGOs, and farmers.
BOULDER, Colo. - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- The Savory Institute, an International, US-based, non-profit, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Land and Livestock Management for Life (3LM) to serve as a local hub for ecological, social and financial regeneration in the British Isles through education, training and consulting services. This territory includes the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man.

“Having worked closely with major influencers in the United Kingdom for some time, such as the office of HRH Prince of Wales and the Virgin Earth Challenge team, we are thrilled to announce the first accredited Savory Hub in the region,” said Daniela Ibarra-Howell, CEO of the Savory Institute. “3LM will provide valuable resources, support, and collaboration that will exponentially grow the adoption of holistic management throughout the British Isles.”

“Our relationship with the Savory Institute is well-timed, because the food supply chain is being driven towards even greater innovation and quality,” Sheila Cooke, Co-Founder of 3LM says. “Farmers are facing economic challenges with increasing input costs, decreasing commodity prices and delayed subsidy payments that are seriously impacting cash flow. Yet at the same time consumers are seeking low-cost, high-quality food as they become increasingly aware of the health benefits."

The Savory Institute is partnering with local organizations worldwide to create a global network of 100 Savory Institute affiliated hubs by 2025. 3LM was one of the 2015 Hub Candidates which included organizations from Australia, Canada, Malawi, and the United States.
