By: PRLog
WASHINGTON - Jan. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Community cannabis activist and DCTOP20 founder, Hakeem Harmon, will be sitting on the steering committee of the inaugural National Cannabis Festival.

The festival will be held on The Festival Grounds at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, and will feature an advocacy and action fair, a vendor fair, entertainment, and many fun activities for the pro-cannabis community.

Along with a number of policymakers and industry innovators, DCTOP20 has submitted its support of the forum, which “recognizes the spirit of the cannabis movement,” and promotes an end of marijuana prohibition. Celebrating the District’s recent decriminalization of marijuana, the festival’s leaders hope to bring further consideration to the cannabis community and enact similar legislation throughout the country.
