ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Feb. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The FAA has taken steps to control the huge influx of new drones now flying in the nation’s airspace. Their latest proposal is a national drone registry. Although many have asked the question, how does this instill safety, John Taylor decided to take the FAA to court.
John Taylor argued that the registration program is a violation of the FAA Modernization Act of 2012. But as Jason Koebler in his article from Motherboard stated, “While the suit does appear to have at least some merit, it remains to be seen how seriously the court will take it. His emergency motion for stay was quickly denied and in several places in the suit, Taylor makes points that don’t seem more-or-less to be potshots at the agency and its explanation for starting the program (namely that it needed to get started before Christmas and that it was starting the program to educate pilots about flying safely).”
As many worry about the legitimacy of Taylor's lawsuit, Jon Rupprecht, Esq., has announced that Mr. Taylor's Case is being assisted by his firm J. Rupprecht Law.
