P&G Divests Hipoglós Brand to Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.

Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) today announced the sale of its Hipoglós® diaper rash cream brand in Brazil to Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.

The transaction, for an undisclosed amount, is expected to close in the next 4 to 6 months subject to necessary regulatory approvals.

The Hipoglós® brand has been present for over 70 years in Brazil. It is one of the most traditional brands among Brazilian moms, loved and trusted during generations to care and protect their babies’ skin from diaper rash.
