CACI Awarded $199 Million Prime Contract to Provide Supply Chain System Support to U.S. Department of Agriculture

CACI International Inc (NYSE MKT: CACI) announced today it was awarded a $199 million task order to provide operations and maintenance support and enhancements for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system. This five-year task order was issued under the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle. It represents new work for CACI, growing the company’s presence in its Business Systems and Logistics and Material Readiness market areas.

WBSCM is a web-based commodity ordering, acquisition, distribution, and tracking system built on SAP® commercial software. It supports USDA and USAID-administered food and nutrition assistance programs, including the National School Lunch Program, the Emergency Food Assistance Program, and the global UN World Food Program, which serve over 30 million Americans daily through over 100,000 school districts, food banks, feeding centers, and Indian Tribal Organizations, as well as over 280 million people in 65 countries through foreign governments and 30 private voluntary organizations (PVOs).

Under this task order, CACI will provide system operations and maintenance to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the WBSCM system as well as implement enhancements to improve the end-user experience and how the solution supports the Department’s mission. CACI specializes in providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based supply chain management systems to the federal government using SAP, and its supply chain systems currently serve more than 60,000 direct users.

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “This contract supporting the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a new customer for CACI, significantly expands our presence in our Logistics and Material Readiness and Business Systems market areas.
