In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 4.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Ultra Petroleum (UPL), up about 39.2% and shares of Stone Energy (SGY), up about 20.8% on the day.
