Thompson rejoins AssetSmart with more than 25 years' experience in delivering leading-edge enterprise asset management and financial software solutions, with a deep focus on ERP, platform infrastructure and cloud applications. He was previously instrumental in on-boarding many multi-billion-dollar aerospace/defense clients at AssetSmart and has progressive experience in the areas of executive leadership, strategic planning, business development, channel partners, compliance and customer success.

Thompson has earned the CMIR (Certified Manager of Investment Recovery) certification from the Investment Recovery Association, and from NPMA he earned the CPPM (Certified Personal Property Manager) credential and also was awarded their highest honor - the CF (Consulting Fellow) designation.

Thompson earned a master's degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Management from Pepperdine University and is a former faculty member of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
