New Online Payment Processing Service Available in McCausland, Iowa

The city of McCausland, Iowa, has recently launched a new system to process payments online and over-the-counter via credit card, debit card, or eCheck. The service is the result of a partnership between the city and Iowa Interactive, LLC of Des Moines.

The system enables citizens to make real-time payments to City Hall for utility or sewer services, hall rental fees, and Labor Day vendor fees or donations. The administrative module provides staff access to update or add items, set costs, process transactions over-the-phone or over-the-counter, and generate reports for account reconciliation.

“Processing transactions, administering the system, and reconciling with system-generated reports have been a breeze,” said Sheila Bosworth, City Clerk, Treasurer. “PayPort is simple and straightforward.”

McCausland, Iowa, is the 18th city to provide services using PayPort, Iowa Interactive’s payment processing system. PayPort replaces a legacy system that terminates support and service May 26, 2016.
