NEW YORK - June 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Summerfuel, Arsenal Football Club's exclusive Soccer School affiliate in the United States, is expanding its world-class Arsenal Soccer Schools USA to California locations for summer 2016, starting with Palo Alto on June 13 at Gunn High School. Other camps will follow in Glendale and San Diego.
Arsenal Soccer Schools USA's first-time expansion into California offers young players of all talent levels the rare opportunity to work with youth coaches from one of the elite English and European clubs. Taught by Arsenal FC youth coaches, players will learn the same drills and tactics that Arsenal FC's world-class professional team uses.
"Youth soccer players are increasingly exposed to the top English and European teams through TV, video games and the internet. To have Arsenal Soccer Schools come into your community means American players are receiving training in the comfort of their hometowns that is typically only available in soccer programs in England," said David Evans, Summerfuel President. "All players leave the day camp with improved skills, expanded knowledge of the game, and fun memories with their Arsenal coaches."
The camps, offered to players ages 7-15, teach soccer with the Arsenal philosophy, which emphasizes attitude, respect, skills, new energy, an all-for-one mentality, and learning. Each camp begins with an evaluation of skill levels followed by daily activities including technique sessions, fun games, and mini tournaments.
"The popularity of Arsenal FC, and the style in which the club plays, has grown tremendously in the United States over the last several years," said Leroy Sequeira, Director of Arsenal Soccer Schools USA. "The expansion into California, and the first team tour of California later in the summer, reflects this surge."
Registration is open now. The cost to attend is $699, and each player receives an official Arsenal camp uniform, certificate, and Arsenal gift. Parents can follow the fun from home with daily camp blogs highlighting photos and stories from the day.
The Palo Alto camp, at Gunn High School, runs from June 13 - 17, 2016. The Glendale camp, at the Glendale Sports Complex, runs from June 20 - 24. The San Diego camp, at The San Diego Jewish Academy, runs from June 27 - July 1.
