Five Senior Wealth Managers Join First Republic

First Republic Bank (NYSE: FRC), a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that five senior wealth managers, part of Consilium Associates from Merrill Lynch, have joined First Republic Private Wealth Management along with seven associates in New York.

The five wealth managers are:

• Larry Rothenberg, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager
• Shaun Van Vliet, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager
• David Farber, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager
• Schuyler Perry, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager
• Timothy Deygoo, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager

These professionals will provide portfolio management, retirement planning and other wealth management services to individuals, families, nonprofits and foundations.

Larry Rothenberg has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and joined Merrill Lynch in 1996. He serves on the board of the Daughters of Israel Nursing Home, The Golda Och Academy, Save a Child’s Heart NYC/USA, as well as The Rabbinical College of America. He graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Shaun Van Vliet, a founding member of the team, has more than 20 years of financial services experience and joined Merrill Lynch in 1996. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Georgetown University.

David Farber has more than 18 years of financial services experience and joined Merrill Lynch in 2005. Farber is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and serves on the board of Philip’s Education Partners and is a trustee emeritus of New Jersey SEEDS. Earlier in his career, Farber was a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers College.

Schuyler Perry has more than 15 years of financial services experience and joined Merrill Lynch in 2001. Schuyler is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hamilton College.

Timothy Deygoo has more than nine years of financial services experience and joined Merrill Lynch in 2007. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a degree in Finance and Organizational Behavior.
