Advisory Research Announces the Hiring of Private Client Investment Advisor, Stephen Evans

Advisory Research, Inc., a diversified investment firm with $8.7 billion in assets under management, announced the hiring of Stephen Evans as a private client investment advisor for the firm.

Advisory Research has a long history in managing assets for private individuals and families. Evans’ addition demonstrates its commitment to enhancing current capabilities and expanding offerings to this important market segment.

Evans has 30 years of investment experience and prior to joining Advisory Research, was most recently at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, where he was a senior portfolio manager, employing a quantitative approach to evaluating global equity securities for client portfolios. Before joining U.S. Trust, Evans was a portfolio manager with Merrill Lynch for five years, specializing in trust portfolio management and privately managed accounts. During his tenure in the financial services industry, he has held positions as a financial advisor with Paine Webber and as a mortgage banker with Arlington Capital Mortgage.

Evans graduated from Hampden-Sydney College and earned a master’s degree in English from McNeese State University. He has also completed graduate coursework in finance and economics at Princeton University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Rider University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
