State of Nebraska Wins State Scoop IT Innovation Award

The Nebraska Appellate Court eFiling application was recognized by the 2017 State Scoop Awards as IT Innovation of the Year. The awards, presented on April 23, 2017, in Virginia honor the best and the brightest IT leaders and programs that make state and local government more efficient and effective.

The Nebraska Appellate Court eFiling application handles paper documents, data input, review, filing and replying, reducing the need for human interaction in the form of data input.

By facilitating the upload of court documents, the application handles much of the heavy lifting of managing court data. Templated after the Nebraska Supreme Court eFiling system, it provides users a familiar interface to facilitate rapid adoption.

“The Nebraska Appellate Courts eFiling application is an impressive tool for the state. We’re excited to have it featured as the innovation we believe it to be,” stated Brent Hoffman General Manager of Nebraska Interactive.
