Falling gold prices weighed down shares of Compania de Minas Buenaventura (NYSE: BVN) $1.25 to close at $11.48, Eldorado Gold (NYSE: EGO) 18 cents to close at $2.72, Hecla Mining (NYSE: HL) 28 cents to close at $5.54, and Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY) 15 cents to close at $2.48.
