Delta Private Jets Appoints Gary Hammes as Company President to Strengthen Operations and Transform Path Forward

Delta Private Jets has named Gary Hammes as President of the 30+ year operator in the private jet industry. As President, Hammes will be responsible for both financial and operational performance, growing the Delta Private Jets brand and the seamless travel solution, and transforming the customer service platform.

Hammes, a 30-year airline veteran, most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Australia where he managed the safe operations of a fleet of 130 aircraft, secured three independent Aircraft Operating Certificates, and led efforts to maximize worldwide revenue. Hammes also previously served as the Senior Vice President and COO at World Airways and ASTAR Air Cargo Inc.

During his time in the industry, Gary has built a notable track record of strategic operational accomplishments. He has proven to be a successful and reliable leader and brings to this position a strong reputation for improving operational efficiency, surpassing budget expectations, and improved employee engagement and customer service metrics.
