West Virginia DMV Ribbon-Cutting Held for New Self-Service Kiosk at Clarksburg Sheetz

DMV Commissioner Pat Reed and representatives from the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce were on-hand this morning at the Clarksburg Sheetz on Stoneybrook Road to promote the newest DMV kiosk. The press event, which began at 11 a.m., focused on the easy-to-use, customer-centered kiosks, which now allow for the processing of driver’s license renewals, in addition to the instant printing of vehicle registration renewal cards and decals. According to Commissioner Reed, “Our new kiosks are making DMV transactions easier and quicker for our customers needing to renew their driver’s license and vehicle registration. We encourage customers to ‘Skip the Line’ and visit one of our new kiosks, with locations now in Clarksburg, Barboursville, Beckley, Kanawha City, and Star City. More kiosks and kiosk services will be added soon for the convenience of our customers.”

Along with the Commissioner and representatives from the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, several DMV staff and supporters were in attendance, and customers were encouraged to get their driver’s license and/or vehicle registration renewed.
