TEX LA features five CEO Roundtables, providing an opportunity for industry thought leaders to share predictions for tech and telecom’s future and participate in educational Q&A discussions moderated by renowned industry analysts, journalists, bloggers and social influencers. CEO Roundtable 3 is “Get Ready For the Olympics LA: IoT, Smart Cities, & Infrastructure Predictions.” The Year 2028 is not as far off as it may sound, particularly as Los Angeles readies its infrastructure to host the Olympics. Meanwhile, technology developments are in overdrive, with smart objects turning into smart homes and then into smart cities. This panel will address how LA and other tech-driven cities redefine the ‘connected’ opportunities of tomorrow and what is in store for next-gen technologies as well as infrastructure.
CEO Roundtable 4 focuses on “TransPacific Connectivity Challenges & Opportunities,” which will explore the burgeoning opportunities and challenges for TransPacific cable builders, datacenter operators, OTTs and more.
The final CEO Roundtable, “AI, Skynet, Ethics & Threats: What’s Next for Human & Robot Races,” will explore AI developments, safeguards and potential next steps.
