The Dow Jones Industrial Average continued a steep plunge throughout Monday, plummeting by more than 1,100 points, or by 4.6%, as the day progressed. The drop set off shockwaves in the financial industry, but analysts do not expect it to give a black eye to the market’s overall economic growth.
