YouTube Prepares to Open VidCon with Second “YouTube OnStage”

For the second year in a row, YouTube and VidCon are partnering to produce a live entertainment showcase to kick off VidCon. YouTube OnStage will be a performative celebration of the cultural trends and notable artists from YouTube, featuring a rotating lineup of your favorite YouTube celebrities and stars.

The high energy show will be held on Thursday, June 21 in The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, and will be open to all conference attendees through a ticket lottery system.*

The audience of more than four thousand fans can expect appearances and performances from some of YouTube’s biggest stars.

In 2017, the 8th Annual VidCon opened with YouTube Onstage, headlined by multi-platinum recording artist Jason Derulo, Grace VanderWaal and featuring appearances by top YouTube creators, including The Slow Mo Guys, Rosanna Pansino, Alex Wassabi, Tyler Oakley, Joey Graceffa, Swoozie, Matt Steffanina, Brooklyn and Bailey, Collins Key, Rudy Mancuso, Todrick Hall, Miranda Sings, Dytto, and many more.

VidCon 2017 hosted more than 31,000 fans, creators, and industry leaders to celebrate the transformational power of online video. With “YouTube Onstage” returning to kicking off this year’s event, the program for the 9th Annual VidCon is expected to be the most incredible yet.
