NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sept. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- Mark Weisman is a veteran musician, producer and writer. He had pretty much "had it" with the music business, it's changed so much over the years. In fact, he had pretty much "had it" with life! After battling depression and even suicidal thoughts, he felt he was at the end of his ropes. Then he re-discovered BINDI. It changed his life.
Of course, he knew her as the daughter of the late, great CrocHunter from Australia, and his own child had grown up watching Bindi. But the years pass, and he had not thought much about her, or Steve, since his tragic passing. One night, just a few months ago, he felt that life had no meaning or purpose. He happened to come across a few videos of Bindi on the internet, most notably, her UN-censored paper that she wrote at the request of the U.S. Secretary of State, but that was chopped to pieces and edited by the government. Bindi stood her ground, refused to let them use the altered version, and posted a video of what she really wrote. Mark was so inspired, as a musician and songwriter, that he knew right then, not only did he have to write a song in tribute to this amazing young lady, but also, it helped him see the light, that no matter WHAT your issues and challenges, you've got to keep going, pick yourself up, and try to make the world a better place. He hopes that his new single SOLAR POWERED GIRL, will inspire other people, that have faced depression, as well as make even more people aware of this very special young conservationist and her work, someone who truly is, one of tomorrow's leaders. Mark has never been to Australia Zoo, but it's his hope and dream that one day he will get to visit, and thank THE SOLAR POWERED GIRL that helped HIM "see the light".
