HOW did you get into music?
I have always liked music as a boy growing up. My uncle would always be playing music, on his sound system, in his car, and I would be vibing to the music, dancing etc, I grow up, listening to Junior Reid, Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Barrington Levy. I got my inspiration from them, but going to high school, change everything for me, I started to listen Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Popcaan, I realized from there I got a special love for music and I would love to become a musician, this is where my best friend iamedz involved because at the time he was a student at Edna Manley so he got a lot of knowledge about music, and he's first one to help me complete my first single, and from ever since he's my strongest guidance in music.
Tell us about some of the things that you have done
I have worked with Junior Reid on my record label, which is such a great moment for me, it was a various artist project featuring a number amount of artistes. In 2019, I have released my first album called Exclusive (Deluxe), Since 2020 I have worked with Mojelo, Angel Morale, Iamedz, in my 2020 album name Classic Legend, I also do a recent single featuring I-Tutor. The single call On Fire, i also drop a next album call Surround Me with songs such as Surround Me, Rocking It, Vegas Casino, The Reason Why, and more.
What are some of the memorable moments?
There are quite a number of moments. Meeting a number of people and it was like taking them out of the TVs and meeting them in person. Those were memorable moments and when I shoot my first official music video tittle Today is Not Yesterday, being in the space was super duper experience for me. So, I would say that those were the memorable moments for me.
What are some of your expectations for the year 2020?
I want to be a value-added; someone of impact in the entertainment sector, to do live shows and people would say Woah! There are people doing that and I want to stand beside them.
What should your fans expect from you this year?
They should expect to see some growth from me. They should expect me to also learn to develop some other skills and go back and learn two instruments, probably, Just kind of go back for vocal training and improvement all around. Get back to recording sessions, get back to my records. So, we looking forward to a difference, change and growth. I remember when I first moved back, I had all these big ideas for videos.
I had all these ideas of videos that Michael Jackson or Beyonce would do but then I realised quickly that you have to start from somewhere and grow big. So, I hope that I would be able to do one of those videos but in the absence of doing those kinds of videos, it is better to be consistent with the ones that are possible in this part of the world and just get to blow people's minds with all those kool stuff.
