White House advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci on burnout: 'I am running a bit on fumes' but 'doing fine'

White House advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci says he has been "running a bit on fumes" after dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic for the last four months. But "as they say, the fumes are really thick. It's enough to keep me going," told The Atlantic. Fauci, who Wednesday was criticized by a White House official, also said he wishes he didn't have such distractions but he tries not to let it bother him and just moves on.
