Best Buy raises minimum wage to $15 as sales improve during pandemic

Best Buy Co. Inc. said that second-quarter sales were up over the same period last year as stuck-at-home consumers spent more time and money on electronic toys and office equipment. The retailer also said it was making pandemic-era pay hikes to hourly workers permanent, locking in a $15 base wage.
