Amador tribe enters gaming compact with state, clearing way for Plymouth casino

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a gaming compact with the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, the tribe announced today, reaching a major milestone in the tribe’s attempt to build a casino in Amador County.
