Previously, Ilyin led the Technical Operations team at Intralinks, a FinTech provider for Mergers & Acquisitions services. During that time, he transformed the operations support organization into the site reliability engineering discipline and built global, follow-the-sun operations centers to support a hybrid data center-based and public cloud model. He also developed an Information Technology Services Management (ITSM) practice focused on driving operational excellence.

“Dmitriy’s track record of shaping organizations for operational excellence, as well as his experience supporting a hybrid data center- and cloud-based SaaS model, will be central to delivering exceptional levels of service as we scale our strategic cloud platform,” said Spiros Giannaros, President of Charles River. “His ability to align teams globally across the organization will enable us to build new practices to facilitate smooth onboarding and a good client experience as more of our customers migrate to the cloud.”

“No matter where a customer is on their journey to the cloud, every incremental improvement in performance makes a big difference, and I look forward to working with Charles River’s teams globally to raise the bar even higher,” said Ilyin. “Adopting Azure enables us to leverage increased automation as well as our centers of excellence and follow-the-sun support model to giving clients the best service possible, and helping bring new capabilities to them faster, more efficiently and more cost-effectively.”

Charles River recently announced it has achieved platform and operational readiness on Azure. The offering leverages Microsoft’s scale and security capabilities to provide investment firms with a platform that enables innovation and helps mitigate risk. Charles River has begun migrating new and existing SaaS customers onto the new Azure infrastructure.
