New mental health therapy and counseling services are now available for Naperville Illinois couples and individuals
Naperville, Nov 1, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Michaele is a licensed clinical professional counselor who is wholeheartedly committed to providing marriage counseling (all couples), as well as individual therapy to adults 19+. She offers clients help in navigating many of life's difficult challenges and transitions - relationships, loss, work, a family of origin issues, chronic health - to name a few. Michaele understands these challenges can lead to stress, depression, and anxiety as well as low self-esteem.
All the while Michaele collaborates with clients, she provides a safe and supportive environment (include teletherapy sessions). Warm and direct in her approach (and with some humor thrown in), Michaele aspires to help clients on their pathway to heal, change and thrive.
"Just because no one else can heal you or do your inner work for you, doesn't mean you can, need or should do it alone." - Lisa Olivera
Michaele brings to clients her background in community mental health and private practice. Before becoming a clinical therapist, she taught first grade in Naperville School District 204. Additionally, she mentored women and their children, partnering with Bridge Communities Transitional Living Program - helping women from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Michaele completed her Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling at National Louis University. While working with couples, Michaele utilizes her training in John Gottman's Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy for Couples. She always customizes her approach to meet the clients' therapeutic needs by using conventional methods (CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems), as well as combining mindfulness and helping clients learn to become more self-compassionate.
