TransTech’s truck driver training program features a low student to instructor ratio with only four students per class. Training consists of three phases: classroom, field and open road, totaling 160 hours in length. Also, there are approximately 40 hours of homework assignments.
Classes are offered on a full or part-time basis; with full-time classes lasting four weeks, and part-time classes lasting 10 weeks. TransTech’s training puts an emphasis on highway safety, enabling those demonstrating proficiency by both objective and subjective evaluation to qualify for entry-level employment as drivers in the trucking industry.
TransTech regularly consults with some of the country’s top trucking companies to make sure its programs are up-to-date and in line with current industry standards. To give its students the best possible experience, all of the TransTech locations have modern facilities and equipment, and class sizes are kept small with four students per class.
TransTech’s instructors are professional and certified, and TransTech is licensed by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles as a truck driver training school and third party examination site to perform CDL Skills Examinations.

In order to graduate, each student must be fully proficient in all phases of training.
