BNP Paribas Appoints Head of Interest Rate Strategy in the US

BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Bulent Baygun as head of the Interest Rate Strategy team in the U.S. He is based in New York and reports globally to Cyril Beuzit, head of interest rate strategy, and regionally to Christian Mundigo, head of interest rate foreign exchange (IRFX) trading in the Americas.

Commenting on the appointment, Guillaume Amblard, global head of IRFX said, With his experience and product and client knowledge, Bulent will play a crucial role in providing analysis and trade ideas on U.S. markets. He brings with him a unique combination of research and strategy experience and a strong quantitative background.

Before joining BNP Paribas, Bulent worked at Barclays Capital, first as head of U.S. fixed income research and strategy and more recently as head of global quantitative strategy. Prior to that, he was co-head of the interest rate product strategy group at Citigroup.
