Credit Suisse slides to $5.2 bln loss, sees good start to 2009

Credit Suisse on Wednesday said it swung to a net loss of 6.02 billion Swiss francs ($5.2 billion) in the fourth quarter after further heavy losses at its investment banking arm, though the Swiss group also said it’s had a strong start to 2009.
